Young Justice: Invasion ep.2 reaction

Just watched episode 2 a little late, since I was busy with Free Comic Book Day yesterday.

I was even more disappointed in this episode. I guess it was just one of those boring episodes that HAD to be there to EXPLAIN some stuff..though I feel like we barely got anything. Other than that Gar = BB. But. We knew that [if you’re fans of the comic]. And even though Superboy “explained” why he and Miss Martian broke up…he still DIDN’T REALLY EXPLAIN IT. Just saying “I broke up with her, I had to”…doesn’t tell us WHY!

So all this episode really did was raise even MORE questions, with much left unsolved.

The lack of Dick, and even Tim, made the episode much less exciting for me.

Does anyone think Megan cut her hair short to look different from Gar’s mom? I know this sounds weird but I was trying to figure out why else she would cut it off.

At least the 10 second preview [it’s probably less than 10 seconds. The way they give Green Lantern like 40 and Young Justice like 5 is horrible] they showed some Nightwing action.

Now that Megan finally figured out what happened during the “16 hours”, hopefully this whole little weird future thing will end and things will go back to being happy and normal.

Because honestly, I’m missing Aqualad. And I’m missing Dick’s funny lines about feeling the aster and being whelmed. And god dangit, I MISS KID FLASH. No words could describe my ANGER when I heard BB say, “Souvenir!” literally STEALING HIS CATCHPHRASE. I WAS LIKE WOW. WHAT IS THIS CRAP.

And we don’t even know if Barry died and if Flash = Wally and if Dick is with Starfire or Barbara or WALLY [yesotpyes].

So. yeah. Many questions. Not many answers. Overall, I thought this episode was pretty boring and blah.
