Young Justice: Invasion ep.7 reaction

I. HELLA. CAN’T. BREATHE. WHAT DO I DO WITH THIS EPISODE? WHAT EVEN HAPPENED?

Okay. Oh my god. Bluh.

Okay I’m going to try to be coherent and talk now. Okay. So.

First: the beginning of the episode I almost had a heart attack. but i called it that she wasn’t really dead (mother and sister are proof) lol. Why did I know that? Because it COULDN’T have ended like that idk. And it makes me really stop back and think…okay. I really don’t think Greg would lie to the fanbase since day 1. Because if you watched that video I posted the other day, he said two years ago that someone was going to die. I REALLY DON’T THINK HE’D LIE. Yes, the fanbase looked into it really hard and thought today was the day Artemis was truly going to die. And she didn’t. She fake-died basically. But.

My guess, Black Manta is going to kill Kaldur. That is my guess. It makes sense to me, because like..just imagine the scene. They think they’ve won. They think they’ve saved everyone. Then Black Manta finds out that Kaldur was working for them and kills him in the moment. Or even like hugs him and then stabs him in the back (literally). Something like that. I’m almost sure that’s what’s going to be happen, but I could be completely 100% wrong and no one’s going to “die” ever again.

I just strongly believe that this isn’t the end of the “someone will die” thing.

Second: Oh my god. Supermartian. I ship them so much and then when I heard what really happened..OMG. And here I’ve been thinking Superboy was being a JERK. And then it was M’GANN. OH MYYYYYY GODDDDDDD. I can’t believe she tried to brainwash him. Seriously. Wtf. Ugh. And when Superboy called her Simon..I was just hoping she’d wake up and realize that they’re great together and she should listen to him and stop being mean to people with her brain power thingies and..ugh. I just want them back together u__u They’re really sweet together and I feel bad.

Third: Can we just applaud Superboy in the Superman outfit? It was ADORABLE.

Fourth: The Spitfire in the beginning = priceless kiss. Very cute. Also did anyone see the map of Vietnam in the bg? xD

Fifth: I really really really wanted to see Dick in the “mourning” scene…why? BECAUSE I NEED TO SEE HIM IN CIVVIES LIKE -NOW-. Ugh. I was so disappointed he wasn’t there :( But! Did anyone notice how cute M’gann’s outfit was? 8D It was adorable haha. Okay, I should stop being excited about such a sad scene ._.;; Well. I just liked their clothes. Everyone’s clothes were cute.

Sixth: Hinting at relationship between Dick and Zatanna. I hope they’re just friends <_<;;

Seventh: Kaldur..I knew you couldn’t be bad bby…;_; Did anyone see how BADASS he looked when he was first coming out of the water without the helmet on? God that was priceless. First time I’ve actually found him attractive.

Eighth: I admit, Artemis was pretty badass. And I don’t even like her. But she was still really cool. 8D

Final thoughts;; I know people keep saying the hiatus is starting but on MY Cartoon Network they announced an episode for next week. o_O;;;; I’m not sure what’s going on with that since my DVR isn’t yet set to record anything new next week but it DID SAY they were going to have an episode u__u Maybe they’re going to just reshow the Invasion series? I wouldn’t mind, since I accidentally deleted the first 3 episodes from my DVR ;_;

If this is the hiatus, it was an amazing run so far. At first I was really just, in doubt. I really was upset about the time skip. Like. Legitly upset. Like annoyed and mad and angry and bluh. But I’ve come to love it and embrace it and I think it’s all for the best and it’s all amazing.
